I have been wanting to use the cobblestone texture mat to create a castle cake and my boys have always loved castles and knights. I created this cake for ICES, and added some 3-D figures. The cake is rolled fondant covered. The points of the castle were created with sugar cones covered in rolled fondant. The 3-D figures are made with gum paste.
This cake was baked in a skeleton pantastic cake pan, and then covered in fondant. The cake board is fondant that has been textured with my texture mat from the floral set. The spiders are hand molded and glittered with disco dust. The chocolate cookies are decorated with fondant. The lettering was created with the cake cricut.
